6063-T832 Grade Drawn Aluminum Tube – Anodized and Brite Dipped
6063-T832 aluminum is a drawn, heat-treated alloy known for its smooth surface finish, improved dimensional accuracy, and greater strength than standard 6063 tempers.
Alloyed primarily with magnesium and silicon, 6063 achieves its T832 temper through solution heat treatment, cold working, and artificial aging, resulting in a lightweight material with excellent corrosion resistance and enhanced mechanical performance. It is commonly used for drawn tubing applications where both appearance and tighter tolerances are important.
Brite Dipped Aluminum
Brite dipped aluminum tube is aluminum tubing that has been chemically polished in a controlled acid bath to create a bright, smooth, reflective finish. This process enhances the appearance of the aluminum while maintaining its corrosion resistance and is often followed by clear anodizing for additional protection and durability.
Brite dipped finishes are especially popular for marine, architectural, and decorative applications where a clean, high-polish appearance is desired.
